Rosey Italian Cermaic Vase

One of things that surprises us about Umbria when we visit every fall is that the roses are still blooming! Even in the little front courtyard of my house, I have 6 roses blooming on 3 bushes as of November 17th!

The rose colored rim of this vase made us nostalgic for Italian gardens. We found this piece at an antique shop in Castiglione del Lago, Umbria, which the town closes to The Villetta.
